Hey guys, I decided it was about time for me to post my Intro. I've been around for awhile now, but wanted to become a little closer with the community and more involved on the forums before I asked for Introduction. Looking forward to getting to know more of you over the coming weeks, while we see if i'm a good fit for DF. Cheers! :lulz:

1 . What is your current display name:
- Smqk

2. List all your previous aliases/display names:

- Original (2003-2011) Ul Fan - Probably my most recognizable alias to anyone who knew me on RS2. This was my first (love), and stands for the University of Louisville

- Secondary (2007-2011) Dj ii3 - Around 2007 Ul_Fan was perm muted, following a few black marks. Needless to say I was young.   As I recall: for spamming "RD" - Reckoning Day - in a pkri (fuck you jagex ¬¬), and for playfully flaming a fellow clan member in public chat while near other players. Nevertheless, at the time I was High Council and had the responsibility of leading and calling a large portion of RD's wars. Needed a new account, so my pure became my main. I maintained playing on UL fan, but focused on Dj to meet clan responsibilities.

3. Post a picture of your stats & combat level (if you are a low level, we expect you train hard during your IG/FA period)

4. What timezone are you in?
- EST

5. Your clan history. Every clan OR team you've joined or attempted to join, how long you were affiliated, highest rank held and why are you no longer in said clan. Inaccurate information will result in an automatic decline.

These first two dates are extreme guesstimates. Beyond that, i'm giving it my best educated guess.

- 1. ~ 02/2005 - 03/2005  | Soldiers of Anarchy:

This clan was the FA clan for Anarchy. I spent a negligible amount of time here, before meeting the cmb reqs for Anarchy.

- 2. ~ 03/2005 - 08/2005  |  Anarchy:

Fun clan that could pull huge numbers randomly. I only held standard membership here. This is the clan that propelled me to fall in love with clanning. I met Shakarak, warlord of Anarchy, who had long wanted to split off and make a clan of his own. At the time tensions were growing in Anarchy, from what I remember due mostly to internal leadership issues, and there was a clear schism in the membership. Shak didn't actively recruit people to leave Anarchy for RD, but I was one that did.

- 3. ~ 09/2005 - 09/2009  |  Reckoning Day:

The bulk of my clan history was happily spent here. I made many lifelong friends - Jetdav, Deathcode10, Shakarak, Tilex80, Rangermicro - to name a few. We technically opened in 2005, but became a legitimate, function clan, with forums, TS, IRC, etc... in early 06.

Ranks Held: Member -> Event Coordinator ( & Moderator) -> High Council -> Overlord -> Leader ( ~ 01/2008 )

Leaving/The End: The clan reached it's peak in the summer of 08. Even then, we were a midsize clan at best. We topped out at around 60-70 active members at our peak.  However, by July of 2009 leadership began to shift our focus to real life. We maintained active events, but most members and leaders alike had reached an age where RS wasn't the first free-time priority anymore. Shak, Deathcode and myself decided to close the clan. Even 7+ years later I still keep in touch with 20-30 of these guys and girls on our community FB page. Leading this clan was where I realized that my obsession with clanning was foremost due to the relationships and friendships built. The game, warring, pkris and events were secondary.

- 4. ~ 09/2009 - 09/2009  |  Violent Resolution: I joined this clan to experience what it was like being a (more) casual member of a "big" clan. However, VR simply wasn't my style. While RD could stir up some good beef with just about any asshole-laden clan, VR seemed to look for it at any turn. Anyway I gave it a try. The highest rank I held here was simply FA/Intro or w/e. Though Mike/Cera S6 knew I was (at the time) a pretty damn good caller, so I did lead a few piles for them in PKRIs. Nevertheless, not only was VR not my style, bu8t I realized my love for RS had faded - I was severly burned out. I'd logged about 380 days login time in the last 6 years - literally more than 15% of my life. This doesn't include where I spent much of my time - modding and posting on forums, chatting in IRC or TS without playing, etc... Anyway, this is when decided to leave RS. Also, on a completely unrelated note, this is just about the time I first got laid.

6. List all DF members you currently know. How long have you known them and where did you meet them?
- True 2k8 - ?10ish years? - Met when he was in UBH and I was in RD. RD & UBH fought on more than one occasion. My memory is slightly fuzzed on the subject, but we sporadically kept in touch throughout the years.

- A little less familiar, but have talked some on IRC and TS: Rene, Chronicflame, Murray, Pengy, Vladi, Chesty and many other community members.

7. As an intro it is important to integrate with the community. Do you have IRC and Teamspeak installed? On a side note: Be in True 2k8 clan chat when you're online.
- I have both, and stay in Purple City :dale:

8. Tell us a little about yourself:
- My name is Dean. Just went back to college after quite a few years off, and i'm studying Economics and Finance. I'm serving at a restaurant-modern art gallery-hotel while I continue study. I love the outdoors, playing tennis, watching tennis, reading, DIY, learning and hanging with my girlfriend and our dog. If you read my community intro a few weeks ago, you might remember I had two dogs at the time. Unfortunately Sasha, our 10 year old puppy, has since passed away. Needless to say I miss her very much. :(

Here are two photos of Sasha:

On a more positive note, I enjoy living a simple life while I work towards my goal of living a life where I can travel often and find adventure both at home and abroad.

9. How did you find us?
- I remembered DF and True from back in the day. Honestly, i'm not sure why I ever joined VR when I wanted a big clan experience - I always had an interest in DF when I considered what to do if RD closed.

10. Are you ready for warring/pking? (gear/stats/experience/knowledge about 07-warring-styles)

Gear Pic In Order of Checklist

- Stats wise, I am sure I can be of some use. That being said - my current focus is on maxed combat so I aim to improve much more and return to this as my main solo-focus.

- My knowledge of 07 warring styles could certainly use improvement. While I believe I was a seasoned veteran 7 years ago, it's been quite awhile since I warred consistently. However I have watched numerous videos in an attempt to catch up to speed. I am eager to learn the specifics.

11. Estimate the time it will take you to be ready to apply for FA? (Minimum 1 week - community integration)

- I'd say 1-2 weeks sounds reasonable. I am constantly in IRC and in CC, but I also skew towards shyness, so I want to get well founded within the clan community before I go for FA.

12. Come clean. This section is for the confession or admission of anything which may cause a problem in you getting accepted.
This includes any NH activities, hacking/scamming, spying/leaking, DDoSing or any other acts you feel may jeopardize your chance at getting in DF.

If it is later found that you did not mention something significant here, you will be declined on suspicion of concealing it.

Truly, there is nothing of note to put here. I'm sure I haven't always been an angel, but shit of this nature was never my thing. If you feel like I left anything our, or need elaboration, I'm ready to explain at any time.

13. Is there anything else you would like to add?

I love PvP, PvM, and have recently reengage my interest in minigames. I am excited to be back into full swing on RS after having taken almost a year off. Like I said, I can be shy at first. But it will be dope to get to know you on a more personal level. I look forward to whipping some ass with you guys. :peace:
